I really hate how they just build wrappers around an existing mobile website and publish it. What's the point of building native apps then? Just Push notifications? Isn't that supposed to be against the terms of the App Store?

This is interesting. I don't know if it's something with my phone specifically, but the whole thing just lags by a couple of seconds whenever I try to type something. It's so bad that I'm usually done typing a couple of words by the time th

Hey Sahil, I usually love the design sense in all your products but the lack of contrast on that body text is killing me! I know it looks better that way, Please make it a little more readable!

Not that it fixes things, but their response came off as being surprisingly honest. Good on them.

Sensationalism aside, reducing HDD capacity by half, removing wifi, removing a whole bunch of educational software just to pay for Windows? Just. Wrong. EDIT: Although, I don't completely buy the argument about upgrades. I still have laptop

I really wonder if he speaks like this IRL too. I had a pretty high impression of Parker till now, but if he can't say a good thing about Spotify without talking about how he did or thought about doing everything in Napster first ..

Completely off topic (browsed to midtownrow.com to see what they were doing), but is it just me or is the current trend in startups shifting towards design focus + curation of stuff instead of a one app that does everything type of approach

Hmm, everything seems pretty expected till now. Dual core processor, better graphics, "4G" support, better camera. Roll out the speech tech and nfc !

Hmm, not sure what I was thinking. I guess I agree. It'd almost double the number of homes that are in walking distance to your home if done.

I see what he's saying, but don't necessarily agree. I grew up in India and I'm not sure how the culture here is in the US, but most of my friends came from houses that were a maximum of 2 blocks away. Not how much of a difference you'd mak

I'm on an H1B. Trying to figure out how to, without compromising my chances of getting a greencard. Technically, I can't even build + charge for an iOS application right now.

I'm going through this process myself and I think one thing that'd be great is if you can A/B test your resume. What do you think about the general idea for a website that lets you do a hot or not style A/B test for resumes? Basically, limi

As a vegetarian, I'd eat it, but hold off for a while atleast to look for potential health consequences. I'm not too worried about nutritional imbalance because I don't think this will ever be my primary source of nutrition.

+1. I would hate to classify any Indian politician as an engineer. More like chose the easiest career path to get a decent amount of respect + a degree and moved into politics. Influence can buy you grades and admissions in India :/
