Thank you for the PG article. Excellent read. I didn't know this term.

But Switchvox has a lot that FreeBPX lacks. The inbound and outbound call rule system is vastly superior to FreePBX, enabling functionality typical of old school PBX systems, like: Match number according to this rule, strip the first x digi

This is good to hear. But what I'm really wondering about is what Sangoma plans to do on the commercial side, most notably with Switchvox. I have been begging for a professional version of Switchvox for years . By that, I mean a ver

This is not a satellite, as it was never designed to be placed in orbit. It's a HAPP. A High Altitude Photography Platform, carried by a helium balloon.

I am interested in this question as well. I have seen the potential use of steganography to spread child porn be used as an excuse to demonize anyone who promotes cryptographic techniques, even for the quite legitimate use of protecting o

Why would I tell you? If I had the next big idea, I'd keep it to myself and start my own damn company. Seriously, what kind of a question is this?

This article is exceedingly short on conclusions. Not sure what its point actually is. Furthermore, there is little in the history it recounts that is actually about race. It seems, rather, to be about societies, regardless of race. In fact

My brother, who lives in rural Michigan and is surrounded by Amish, took me to one of their wood shops. These Amish were allowed to run diesel engines, provided they started them with a fly-wheel and clutch system. In this case, the diesel

I prefer to eat my own dogfood. That usually solves the problem. I design the API with two strictures: First: Any API I can use, my customers can also use. Second: Everything I design must use the API. No backend magic. No black boxes. The

Of course. Even subgroups within the Christian church itself have been guilty of such atrocities at various points in history. But to say that all organized persecution of Christians ended with Constantine is just historically wrong.

Tell that to the Catholics in England and colonial America, or the Protestants in Ireland, or the Jacobites in Scotland, or churches of various denominations in many Islamic countries or territories, such as the Congo.

Ignorant westerner here. Is this a recognizable symbol to Hong Kong residents in general, or only to the much smaller gaming subculture (assuming that it is, in fact, much smaller)? I mean, I know e-Sports is much bigger in the east, but is

Yeah, but it's a gimmick. There's no way to make it useful because even at perfect efficiency, it's not possible to generate a useful amount of power given the required surface area.

I'm not advocating that any enterprise use this service. I run a WAN with 4 local sites (on a MetroE MPLS network) and a remote office via a VPN tunnel. So this is not my first rodeo. I would never use a cloud-based WiFi controller for

You are overthinking this. If you have a VM running the controller, or a cloud key, on your internal network, you would need to VPN in to manage them remotely.

Bazille can't really be compared to the DX7. It's really its own thing, and cannot replicate DX7 patches. It's built around phase distortion of tradition oscillator waveforms, not phase modulation of sine waves, like the DX7.
