The section on "companies in the top 10 decade to decade" seemed to be a very weak argument to me. Reminded me of reasoning sometimes used by cryptocurrency investors "it crash 3 times and recovered, therefore it's guara

At my university's astronomy dept we've developed gpu software and used it to discover many new objects in the kuiper belt. It's robust enough that it can also be used to detect airplanes. https://github.com/D

I recently wrote up an explanation of the way procedural generation works, and compiled a list of interesting live demos! Repo even contains some simple code to experiment with :) https://github.com/Computer-Graphics-And-P

Space engine doesn't have nbody or collisions yet, but if you want to explore a beautifully rendered and endlessly exolorable universe, highly recommend space engine. It's also developed almost entirely by a single guy in Russia.

Factorio is probably the most satisfying game I've ever played. Amazingly challenging but has a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when building things. Don't mind the graphics, it's a lot of fun :)

I'm a fan of evolutionary algorithms, but are they really effective enough here to be comparable to an engineer tuning code? They might be able to find a good configuration of a few canned options but real optimization often requires s

Exactly! The "limited supply" argument for the value cryptocurrency totally ignores the fact that anyone can fork or create a brand new token every day of the week. Nothing like gold or any assets tied to the physical world.
