Most people don’t even say woke at all because most people don’t talk with political shibboleths specifically and consciously pushed as a scare tactic for critical race theory. I expect the more neutral term would be “political correctness”

“wokeism” isn’t a defined thing, that’s why it’s off putting, it’s just a boogeyman pushed by conservative politicians and media. Even when you ask what they mean by it it ends up being applied to basically anything they don’t like.

Probably because with PCs you typically want to be able to focus on any particular part of the screen without moving your head a lot while with a tv relying on more peripheral vision is normal and expected.

I people constantly complaining about modern web frameworks but these people never offer concrete alternatives. It’s always “it depends” or whatever to avoid even an example of what they are arguing _for_ and why it’s better.

I would certainly prefer more RAM but I have a 8GB M1 MacBook Air and I do web development in VSCode fine. It's never been a problem for me personally.

It’s a performance optimization for rendering a large amount of html. If the DOM had all the items in memory it would perform much worse. Thankfully browsers are working on a feature where you can keep the markup in the DOM for things like

That’s assuming the letter even works in having the subscription cancelled. Regardless of whether or not it should work, I am certainly not confident such a thing would be handled properly. If it isn’t then you are back to customer service

If no job was paying less than a living wage it wouldn’t harm anything to guarantee you get a living wage via the minimum wage either.

Tie congress’s pay to the minimum wage (e.g 7 x minimum wage). If they can’t afford to live imagine the large portion of society working making a tiny fraction of what they do.
