I wonder if I used your add-on. There is some very interesting stuff available now, like ask Mr. Robot.

For sure. Or offer "Vanilla" servers. I remember back in the day Ultima Online servers would pop up form time to time with the classic UI.

Or just use Windows Datacetner Ed on your hypervisor. Most cloud providers have that as an option. It's like $200 a month and you can run as many VMs as your hardware will support.

The vast majority of FB uses are using an app, not a browser. clicking a link in the FB app does not take out "out of Facebook" they know if you clicked the back arrow within the app, and went back to your feed.

The things they were doing with cameras reminded me how Android started out as a camera project and not a smart phone. I wonder if there's any relation...

That's how SoftLayer does it, since 2005.

You could do that on SoftLayer with monthly GPU servers. There's not an hourly option yet though.

SoftLayer has been doing this since 2005. One API to provision and deploy compute on demand physical or virtual. Over 90% of their customer bases uses bare metal servers.

SoftLayer has supported IPv6 for years. All their servers have IPv6 enabled.

Would these be too pricey as hypervisors for cloud compute? It seems to me to be ideal for CPU thread intensive applications like databases, on-demand transcoding. What are some use cases for a server like this for Google? I'd love t

Or the OP could use a cloud IaaS provider that creates tickets on his behalf. The fact he submitted a ticket to DO and got a response indicating what the issue is, and that they are working on it is fine IMO since you get what you pay for.

What level of support are you expecting for $5 a month? If uptime and support of your website/ application is important to you it's likely time you invest more in your cloud infrastructure.

This will likely further integrate into IBM's SoftLayer platform. The SoftLayer API already integrates with Cloudant, perhaps this means that all Cloudant compute would migrate to the SoftLayer bare metal server infrastructure. This
