I love Martix/Element, and about the only thing I don't like is that I need moar features! We have a space with several rooms for our FOSDEM devroom, it's been working flawlessly, including for all our video calls with many p

Let's not forget a team making a great free product. Yeah we can complain about filthy materials but imagine you working hard to build something as nice as Matrix/Element only for these low-lifes to do these horrible things to it.

Ah I miss the days when my own music felt like something valuable (now it feels like a mess). When I’d turn on music via the computer (using xmms or Amarok hooked up to the amplifier. I feel a bit like Sonos and iOS/Android and Spotify

Roads, bridges, tunnels all need to be maintained, restored. And there is always the environmental damage that STILL has no price on it. Our Railroads are powered by "green" energy (a combination of Wind and Solar) and there is fa

Yeah that's in off-hours, where you get 40% off. So that means it's much more expensive when you need to get to the office during office hours. And your office is not next to the station. Certainly there are times when it is worth

Our Dutch one is too (privatized in 1995, it's one of our biggest employers as well), we have a nice railway system but the car is generally cheaper, even when using it alone. It's always about how much money the railway system is

Back in the day there were pipetting robots and 384 well plates. Probably some smart grouping techniques to hone in on a mutation in a binary search like fashion. But nowadays we have things like single cell sequencing, which allows you to
