Exactly my first thought, maybe AI means the democratization of persuasion? Printing press much? Sure the the Big companies have all the latest coolness. But also don't have a moat.

Right?! Also on many online forums. I get why and how, but it remains pretty weird to see/read from a country where everyone is "a cyclist". It just comes across as very low IQ. It's like making fun of people that have b

Perhaps. But I also found it of note that while traveling Vietnam, many hotels had bikes for rent (about 2 usd a day [2010 so ymmv] or sometimes for free) to go places. And it would generally be a nice way to get around. Although the situat

I once rented a small Kia (cheapest car I could get), drove from Houston to New Orleans and back. Apart from my eye balls popping at the sight of all the weapons on people and in shops, seeing some of the most obese people ever in my life (

If you’re looking for a link to Atlas Shrugged, there isn’t any, except for the title… and the interpretation of the sentence “Atlas Shrugged” in this piece has nothing to do with the novel.

Having a great showcase distro can be a very nice way into Linux in general. Don’t be so negative. IMHO the Linux life style also means exploring, being more aware of data/OS separation, a deeper understanding of computing in general.

Ah so it’s a usb C key that adds a Linux friendly GPU for which the drivers are in the kernel? Or it’s some gaming smoothening software. Hmm runs on tablets, so it’s an App then… that also runs on htpcs… hmmm…

Yes same, you bump, you put iPhones on to op each other, you enable "findable by other". And still you may be messing around for minutes. Then a larger transfer starts... But fails half way for 6 times. It's the best way (if

Haha dutch guy here... Who cares? Our bedrooms have curtains! Actually living rooms usually as well, but we are reluctant in closing them I guess. Also, you'll often find patches of intransparant glass to prevent directly looking in. B

It would be subways then, not cars I suspect. At least in a city like Rotterdam (673K inhabitants) that is by far the optimal way to get around, cars are really almost useless in the city center. Here, most of the street is already reserved

Most Dutch people can afford cars, but many are on bikes (including cargo/e-bikes), about 27% of all "movements" [0]. This is because of the way our infrastructure is set up, the bike is very often optimal (special bike lanes

Cool. Once IT removed Minecraft from my company PC, I created a bootable USB key, and used it to install Linux to a USB key in another port, as if it was a normal ssd. Worked smoothly. Played a lot of Minecraft with that machine like that,
