Datadog did something similar to me at a previous company- they were miserable. We tried to use their credits from the AWS program, but then they kept adding more and more requirements to the program. They eventually wanted to go full MLM,

It's absolutely silly for the RTO people to force their preferences on everyone. The fact that RTO folks only consider it a win if everyone comes back, rather than trying to build out flexibile working conditions that make everyone h

This seems like a lot of conjecture without any numbers or facts to back it up. You assume that making Group B return to office won't affect their productivity, while making Group A work from home will. However, I know for me personall

It's also just false based off of the numbers. In the US at least immigrants are more likely to open businesses and less likely to commit crimes. Immigrants are just as likely to have bachelors or post grad degrees than non immigrants,

The Home Assistant team has a full company behind them, and they sell cloud services for the app for people who want it. Zigbee2MQTT has 113 sponsors. If you run them both with docker then updating is pretty simple with no package breaks. I

The 400k is a red herring anyways. Not every engineer makes that, and not ever person who laid off was an engineer. The layoffs affected recruiters, marketing, sales, and a ton of areas that were not engineers. Lower level engineers were al
