Yes it's been out for quite some time. It's also requires running a proxy as a GCP application, so people running GTM largely because it's free/cheap aren't going to go along with this.

Note that the Google announcement in question was August 2020. This didn't seem to make any significant changes to the ad-block space when it rolled out, and pretty much every site is still running the Javascript frontend.

Even before I had a job, reading "we are like family" in advertisements just left me thinking of "well you walk out on a family at 5pm just because the event ended then".

This was tested on a few Twitter threads, the confirmation being yes, .zip files and even .iso files will retain the mark of the web confirming they were downloaded. The special case is where 7-zip is used, which doesn't respect that m

They actually did a long time ago. A word .docx can't execute code. If it has a macro, it's a .docm, which is usually blocked on mail systems. The problem of course is the legacy of .doc, which is both of those in one filename.

The prompt to enable macros is near identical to the "protected mode" prompt, that users must click in order to do things like "print" and "copy to clipboard". No user ever questions it. To answer your question

The change means there won't be a prompt within the open word document to enable the macro at all. You would need to exit word and change the document properties.

For all intents and purposes, macros are enabled by default. Yes, there's a simple "Click to enable" prompt. Everyone looks at it as "the button you need to click to load the document". People do it without even rea

I don't understand how these crawlers even work. Last week I published a PoC for CVE-2022-0316. The next day you Google that CVE, and a whole bunch of foreign language sites with an exact copy of my blog would show up. My own original
