Yep. I haven't even attempted to click on a Forbes link (shared, or recommended) in ages. Any site that still serves interstitials also gets promptly sent to the pits of despair or dev/null.

Find an alternative to ad-supported business models maybe. Isn't much of this data used by/for the advertising industry?

Disgraceful is a good word for sweeping this huge social issue to places it's less seen. Yep, there's plenty of blame to go around. I hope we don't become desensitized to the sufferings of others by moving "problems"

I thought the article was helpful in shedding light on this disgraceful practice. If Google is part of it, it deserves to be called out on it. The problem may be bigger than just one company, but it doesn't mean that just because other

Also, tweets from a dev and former PM this evening both demonstrate an unforgiveable level of dismissive arrogance toward user feedback. Twitter is clueless when it comes to UX.

This is par for the course with most tech companies that fail to get CX. Some are better though than others and a small handful actually attempt to be responsive online. Twitter gets an F for online support.

Based on tweets with the #Twitter10k hashtag, many users don't think it sounds like a good idea. Wall Street and the userbase seem to both agree for once.
