I worked for TomTom ~12 years ago, they had some of the best dev from all over the world. The one issue I found was they had all indpendent teams which are bit disconnected and not sure what everyone were doing in total.

Google is weird, they want to conquer Cloud market but they dont do anything like VSCode or Github in dev community. In 10 years Google regret not buying Github.

I spent 6 years in a top 3rd unvieristy in US, working on Nanotech. My resepect for research is not same after that. I felt everybody runs after Science/Nature papers and funding.. I haven't found honest curiousity to discover new

I use to have a active product DearEle.com an email reminder service. There was a feature to cc everyone in email, which is used by spammers to send junk products to everyone. The source emails were all fake. Email check prevent fake emails

My biggest complaint with Java is Generics. I am not against Generics, I don't like the way they were implmented in Java and they copy/pasted the same shit to C#.
