I’ve got an EV in a flat with a terrace in London. There’s 4 22kw charging car parks within a few min walk, and a lot more further, plus a few more expensive fast chargers. Works well.

As the author says: this capex isn’t a railroad, it’s a very expensive immediately depreciating asset. We should be so lucky

We used them for years in broadcast radio outside broadcast (I.e live concert) recordings, first as source, then as backup for unreliable computers. Not anymore, but they had a pretty long run into the 2000s in parts of the pro world. Where

Claude is reasonably good at Elixir in my experience, but gets a bit carried away with logging. Gemini is quite shit. o3 is pretty great - but I mostly use it to review things when I get stuck with claude. It definitely feels like Gemini ha

Queer nightclubs - Berghain and FOLD (London) e.g. Some parties I occasionally go to in London have a “we really really don’t want you to use your phone on the dance floor and will tell you off” policy.
