Worth pointing out that, as a concert hall, it's extremely mediocre acoustically ( same as the Royal Fesitval Hall) - albeit pretty and I love it dearly. There was a plan to build a new, proper concert hall but it got scotched. Probabl

Yeah I cut it by accident during the pandemic. It already sucked then - person you follow liked this is what did me in. Elon just finished it off. I suspended my account, without realising if I left it for n days it would be deleted. Went b

The telegraph is split brained where the reportage is excellent and the comment and opinion is the worst, shrill, reactionary.

There was a survey done recently and the GOP is about as rightwing and authoritarian in outlook as the Russians. Miles beyond most other right wing parties. https://on.ft.com/4iqh3qA

Yeah I love Hey Duggee, but after multiple episodes it can grate, ha. My son really likes it. Our friends bought us the vinyl record. Act of war imo.

So far we've managed to keep our 2 and a bit year old's tv diet to Bluey, Hey Duggee (a bit crack-y but he loves it and it is still crafted and quite tounge-cheek-funny), Trash Truck (a very calm, sedate one on Netflix, useful if

Excellent essay. I hadn’t taken it seriously until I had my own but it’s crazy how variable kids books can be. The stats at the end about access for the poorest are heart breaking. My son loves his books and it’s so nice to see.
