The text was still fast. And I NEVER saw had the text disappear for a second while the page updated the font... The text was still fast, and the developers assumed you had a crappy modem in at least 80% of cases. The web is getting slower.

The flames around the top of the engines is normal, it's the exhaust from the turbo pumps feeding the main engines. Check this page, the Merlin uses an open cycle, where fuel/oxidizer used to fuel the pumps is just dumped overboar

If you need to extend it, just extend it with your own includes. If you need to modify it, stick to editing variables. If you have both of those, then updating minor versions should be easy. I tend to keep the source in the bower_components
