Note that this means a PCR-test will have no meaning other than you came in contact with Covid-19 somewhere between now and up to 3 months ago. The PCR-test measures the existence of virus RNA. Not when you were infected, if you are sick of

I'm into webdevelopment since 1999 but I still don't know what web2 is. As a matter of fact the internet did not change that much as most people think. Ofcourse CSS changed and made things easier, Javascript is making application

Maybe you are not aware of this but the vaccines don't prevent the spreading of the virus. This is because they prevent you from becoming sick, not from becoming infected or being contagious. And after 6 months the effect of the vaccin

Am I right that this is (only) about unfair dominance in logistics? It looks like Amazon Prime is forcing sellers on Amazon to use Amazon logistics and thus putting others out of business.

Focus on case numbers by means of PCR tests is problematic because a PCR test only measures virus RNA, not the cause of sickness or contagiousness. If a thousand healthy people come in contact with the virus it is possible they all will hav

The brand is Simr, but I think there are only 3 or 4 meters that are sold as whitelabel and rebranded a thousand times. I think it was around $30. Outside it measures around 400ppm so the base point is good. Inside it measures 480ppm with g

Exactly. Recently I bought a very cheap CO2 meter. It is inaccurate, but still accurate enough for 99% of the people.

Maybe the snow came by surprise. There have been a lot of sudden snow lately. In the UK 50 people were stuck in a bar and I believe in Denmark people had to stay the night in IKEA. https://www.nytimes.com/2021/11/2

I have been using Blender for over 15 years and I also love it but also for different reasons. When I started using Blender I came from 3DsMax. Max took almost half aminute to start, Blender maybe 2 seconds. And now, years later, Blender is

Ah thank you. I was in fact looking for that talk! What I really like about this is that the base grid is not straight. Therefore the buildings are arranged in a very European style.

If you take a look at the paper it is only about the optics. Which is still a big achievement, but I think the complete system is a little bit bigger than a grain of salt. So the article should be taken with a grain of salt as well. https:

Well lets say natural global warming will cause a rise of 5°C in the next 50 years. Then we have 50 years to adapt. But when we accelerate this change we might need to adapt in 5 years. And we might even cause a rise of 6°C instead of 5. I

Do you agree? Absolutely! I think we are very 'unlucky' (stupid) that we are accelerating a natural climate change that causes global warming.

Personally I am still not convinced climate change is completely caused by human activity. But I think we are accelerating a natural climate change. “Climate simulations generally do not reproduce this kind of warming in the Arctic Ocean,

I think this is the right answer. Like Corona it mutates too fast. So you need to vaccinate all living creatures that can transmit the virus all at the same time. Another way to get rid of it is to go into a global 100% lockdown for two wee

Doesn't this apply to the whole internet? Internet connects both good and bad people. The moment you create something that can be used to upload any type of content, some people will exploit it.
