I think you're reading too much into the point being made. A resume is to get an HR person or hiring manager interested in you enough to interview you in person. You definitely need to write them towards that audience and their stand

Wow, nice looking drive for not a lot of money. I've been living with a 128GB SSD but find it's just a little too small. After 9-12 months or so I generally need to flatten and reinstall because a lot of junk has accumulated and

Haven't had a chance to look at the docs for it yet, but will LLVM be the compiler for it and will it support compiling Swift into its native bytecode?

Yes, it's funny that people didn't pick up on Apple potentially doing more with it when his demo made the rounds a few years back.

I've been using Ansible a bit recently (and _really_ enjoying it) and agree that YAML can be a little wonky at times, like having to escape any template line with :{ in quotes because YAML interprets it as a dictionary. However I don&

That's my number too, with a conservative rate of return you could make $200k a year on interest alone. Probably not enough money to live in crazy expensive areas or go jet-setting around the globe, but certainly enough to do whatever

One crazy way to think about it, looking down at base camp at ~17,000 feet you're looking at a spot that's higher than almost all the mountains in the US.

I don't think it was ever meant to be a server beyond a single user on a single machine. It's great for spinning up a server to start prototyping some web pages, etc. locally. Trying to serve content to multiple users (especiall

How is it winning on price vs. the Air? The 11" Air starts at 899 vs. the Surface 3 with similar Core i5, 4GB memory, and 128GB SSD hardware that starts at 999. Add the $100+ keyboard cover to the Surface and it's an worse compa

Really akward that they made a point of saying the device is 'fanless' when it clearly has a fan and vents around the side. Sure it might be a very nice and quiet fan, but it sounds disingenuous to be saying there isn't one.

Do they really have a choice? For better or worse they aren't getting traction with the Surface family, so they need to keep trying new stuff in the hopes of finding a device that consumers want.
