Amazing book! My nasal breathing definitely improved from few simple tips from the book, and I wasn't even particularly diligent with following the program very far. I'm sure I could get even more benefits if I adhered to the exer

Yeah, and unfortunately the only rooms not run by scammers were filled with people talking about anti-semitic conspiracy theories. What a cesspool it became.

Hauling ass is the more common form of the phrase. It means going very fast. What he means here is that if you take it in the day, it’s stimulating, but at night it will help you sleep. I have personally never heard of Taurine as a sleep ai

BTC ASICS have much better performance per watt for mining Bitcoin. It’s almost impossible to be profitable with btc mining on GPUs. ETH and many other alts are mined on GPUs though.

There’s also the factor that some people have a longer incubation period. Early on in the pandemic there were reports of some people having 21-27 day incubation periods before testing positive and getting sick. I think it’s less common now

I think that fuzzy finding is a much better way to open files than browsing a directory tree. fzf is an amazing tool for this.

I bet the kinesis foot pedals would take emacs to the next level too. I use spacemacs in evil mode so I never bothered having to learn all those key chording things for emacs.

Ruby on Rails is awesome to write, horrible to maintain. It’s the fastest way to build a web app but good luck with staying productive once you have 100 engineers working on it and a million lines of rails soup to wrangle.

Large Rails projects are the worst I’ve ever encountered as far as being able to find the code that’s actually going to run when I’m looking at a function call in some code. Even with Rubymine, the jump to definition support is a joke compa

I'm sure people were saying the same things about the printing press as people are saying about social media. People were printing pamphlets in the 1800s that were just as crazy as any of the misinformation we see online today.
