We can definitely starve a robot, just don't give it a way to recharge itself.

This is why I wonder if 401Ks will just turn into a dog chasing its own tail. I think today, they still hammer that you need to have 1 million in your 401K when you retire, something being said my whole working life.

I've also seen that too. The no-free-form entry sucks. I went to a pretty big public school, but for some reason it wasn't included in the pre-populated list on one job I was applying to. No clue what the company using it's c

That is my understanding. Papers can be wrong for different reasons, some nefarious, some honest mistakes. The problem I wouldn't say is with the paper itself. It more of people citing it with a lack of peer review or lack of replicati

I have a 2009 with NetBSD 9.3 and recently got a 2011 for under 50 that I installed DragonflyBSD. I use them primarily for ports development. They are not super fast, but good enough to build most packages in a reasonable time to ensure I&#

Exactly. The really screwy thing with it is the naming scheme. SE 2016, 2020, and 2022. But I love still having a physical button on it. The battery life is better with the 2022, but still not anything compared to the regular iPhone or most

Yea, the naming scheme is really screwed. They also have the 2022 now. I had the 2020 and got a free upgrade to the 2022. The only big difference between the two is the 2022 does have a slightly better battery life. But I love having the ph

If you are looking for an alternative because the 3A is getting a little long in the tooth, I would say look at the SE. It doesn't have USB-C, but its a damn good phone for ~$400 (with probably 7-ish years of support). When I was looki

It sucks, but it is also good. I can pick up an intel mac mini for cheaper and cheaper and they make good little local area servers as long as you don't require them to be as fast as apple silicon.

I'll amend my statement then. The UN has no teeth against big players. The UN has done some things, but they tend to be with smaller nations without as much clout on the world stage. The UN, still has yet to really wrangle in the major

I think it depends on how you explain the history and structure of the UN. One one hand, eh, maybe the UN was just enough for the US and USSR to hold off launching nukes. On the other hand, they may look at the structure with the US and USS
