Yes, but the regulation should come from the correct source. Crypto is a security according to the Howey Test.

That was my first thought reading this… isn’t this basically TinySeed? (Not that there can’t be multiple funds like this)

Great list, but why not buy the domain name until you have registered your legal business name? I haven’t heard that advice before…

I believe someone did launch a decentralized version of discord for crypto, but it didn’t take off because the greater fools aren’t there already.

Descript.com is great if you don’t like DAWs and want an easy way to make edits to your recordings.

It’s only faster if you have the skills personally to build (which is many, but not all, HN users). If you don’t then vetting is a better place to start.

Why does it not mention names until the very last person? It makes the article seem like it has an agenda.

Consider checking out the ‘no code’ movement and learning a platform like Bubble.io. If you’ve tinkered with code before you’ll have a leg up and there are tons of free resources to help you learn. Quite a few opportunities from there to tu

People can be very relucatant to share feedback in groups for fear of their ideas being shot down publicly. I don’t understand the appeal of Discord for feedback. As a user I have to sign up, figure out your channel structure and rules and

Lowballing an incentive is worse than offering no incentive. Either pay a fair hourly rate and run fewer interviews, or skip it entirely. Charity donations can also be effective if you offer a reasonably sized donation.

A decent book that elaborates on this idea and gives some examples of how to pre-test is called ‘The Right It’ - https://www.albertosavoia.com/therightit.html

It explains the problem, but doesn’t really offer any solutions for those of us stuck on ‘campfire chords.’ Any suggestions for videos that do offer solutions?

Americans earning less than $40,400 are generally unable to throw $2k into SPY, so while it’s a nice sentiment that it’s ‘fair’ because lower income people get breaks, it’s not quite the reality. https://outsider.com/news&#x

That is what I was wondering. Does ‘energetic’ just mean extroverted? Are there energetic introverts? Regardless, seems like a bad idea as blanket advice for all roles.

It’s funny. My partner has a government job and works much harder than anyone I know in private industry (as do her co-workers). Also, it is a better organized place to work than most enterprises I’ve consulted for. Goes to show YMMV and it
