Giving a huge benefit of doubt, that barely explains their initial behavior. The guy had two hands full when he was shoved. We can see that in the video. The officers continued to get closer and closer to the man. They were approaching him.

Using a highly addictive thing responsibly is trickier than a list of bullet points that worked for you. Everyone starts out using thinking "I can keep this in control".

Ah ok, by "numpy wouldn't work in JS" you meant something like it wouldn't be popular or as loved. Makes more sense now.

It was my primary role. I coded for many hours every day as CEO. It did make for a lot of long days. I can identify as both CEO and programmer. And musician and other things. No need for gatekeeping.

Some parts of Brasil decided to not observe daylight savings this year. I had to file a bug with Chrome which was converting dates in JS off by one hour for some Brazilian cities. Firefox got it right. If a couple of years ago you had store

Jeremy Howard developed the fastai library using Jupyter Notebooks and his nbdev tool[1]. I'm not saying that to disagree with your claim - I don't have enough experience with Jupyter Notebooks yet to have much of a strong opinion

That claim doesn't even pass a simple common sense test: why would Node.js developers be so much more influenced by Bob Martin (of object oriented and Java fame) than developers in other languages? And it's not even entirely true.

They aren't always false promises and handouts. Lobbyists get paid big bucks to bribe, oops, I mean to inform politicians on policy. Those promises often get delivered. Unfortunately.
