There are two different things going on here. One is detecting Chrome OS and the other is determining the set of stream profiles. If you were to change your useragent to get Chrome OS, like the GitHub says, this would alter code paths in ot

Just look at the code, it's determining that h/w accel exists in Chrome OS. If it's not in this path it gets 720p as the highest resolution. This isn't some widevine/netflix joint effort that recently got leaked or

Looking over the code it doesn't appear to be malicious. It's related to detecting if hardware acceleration is present. I'm not up-to-date on feature detection, so I'n not sure if there's a better way to know if it&

Water filtration straws are cheap and easy to use. There is no reason for the risk, especially not while out in the wilderness.

Guessing not a full time engineer or some kind of niche talent? Never heard of anyone going remote or even being a possibility. Its written into the culture and all job postings.

Completely untrue. I was at Bocoup and we wanted to standardize on Ember. It took weeks to get devs doing the basics in a large app. Ember isn't gone because its misunderstood. Its gone because we can build the same apps using more sui

If this is anything like his Learn C book, I'll pass. Was a waste of money as he came off incredibly arrogant and fumbled through it.

Nothing had changed in the web stack that would prevent someone from building a webpage the same way as 20 years ago. Text editor and a browser...

Install an earlier (supported) version of Arch, or use a different distro are the options to try before a landfill.

It really wasn't that bad and the AUR + official channels had patched packages with the correct shebang line. The worst offender for a while was the node-waf builder, had to patch it manually to get any packages to build, otherwise you

Web Animations have barely any browser support, a pretty crummy API (IMO), and the Promise `finished` property which would differentiate itself from this library has still not been implemented anywhere yet :-/

I agree completely. So many on XDA forums brag about downloading terabytes a month. I'm not sure why T-Mobile doesn't just cut them off and let those who accidentally go over a tiny amount to browse un-throttled. I recently downgr
