Thank you! I've been contemplating what I should learn next. I read your comment, bought the course, and have already started the exercises. Excellent recommendation!

Almost spit out my coffee when I saw Docker and Hugo together! Still, I like the self-contained nature of this with the Python form handling. For anyone that wants a simpler setup: Netlify forms [0] can handle form submissions, 100 per mont

Please do go on! I'd love to hear more of you thoughts on better menus or better info architecture. I have a project that could have many menu items, and the sausage is an interesting idea but not common/well known enough that I

Hopefully this does not sound snarky, but I expect to see 2'x4' birch plywood, in 1/2" and 3/4", in the first two slots! 4'x8' sheets are fine, but later in the results. 2"x4" lumber should

I'm not quite sure what it was, it was maybe 3-4 weeks ago. I think part of the problem is that different searches return different results: "2x4 birch plywood" returns the correct results in the first two slots - 2'x4&#

I wish someone at Home Depot would fix come of their website's basic usability issues. The layout shifts, bad location UI, and slow speed really sour the experience. Interestingly, I recently did what I thought was a basic search for a

It's fascinating to me that the search results page on mobile is often three-ish screens of non-website links. Instead, it's ads, answers, images, and other random stuff. These things are either monetized or scraped from someone&#

I agree. The article says: "MarketRank is built on the analogy of the market. An object with a higher market value is probably better." This is already how SEO works: if you get a link from another website to your content, it'

Since the article is actually about an SUV, not a sedan: After seeing a post on Reddit years ago, my partner and I built a sleeping platform for her Camry out of plywood that she used for a months-long cross-country trip. On some cars there

Very cool that you built this in such a short time! It makes me wonder if there will be a new segment of programmers that specialize in superfast no-code app creation.

htmx [1] (formerly intercooler) is sort of similar, although the server instead returns html fragments. Here's an example [2] of using it for infinite scroll (instead of pagination). I'm pretty excited to try out django-sockpuppet
