If the owners of all these companies are actually afraid of their own managers allocating funds within the companies they have supposedly invested in, then what's the point of investing in anything at all? In that case, the "e

This is not sales; programmers don't get "raises". The good thing is you can give yourself a raise by applying for a job at another company. If you want more responsibility (i.e. a promotion), then you can sometimes get one

People who have money want to see that money grow. You can't get around this. How many companies have you worked for in your 3 years? Maybe you just need a change of environment. The programming field is vast. It's possible to exe

I'm not making excuses, but what appears to be going on in China is very serious indeed, with possibly one million people being seized and interned in prison camps, breaking contact with loved ones, and never released. The increased st

Even though you think you're ready, you may still need some down time. Find some way to disconnect completely from your daily responsibilities for a weekend or even a whole week to sleep, eat, and reflect. If down time isn't worki

No problem. By the way, I added some quick and dirty romanization in the output stage if you're interested. It in no way represents how the words sound, but it does make it easier for the Roman eye to parse. ex. Correct. Input: احتياطي

I added some basic transliteration in the output formatting stage so people who don't know Arabic script can understand the results. Accepting romanized input would require a little more work, so I'd have to tinker a bit there.

I think the formatting on the output is a bit confusing. The input is jumla جملة (sentence) and the output is J-M-L or ج-م-ل, not the word جمل, which yes, is a word for camel. I think it would be easier to read if I just added dashes betwee

It really depends on what dialects of Arabic you are looking at and what your goals are. My starting dataset is very small. I study classical Arabic, so I am only looking at fus-ha or MSA (not quite the same but very close), and I only pu

Wow, really nice app! I love the simple-yet-highly-responsive interface. I'm definitely going to be sharing this around to my translator friends. Just curious, are you a translator?

Oops, I didn't quite understand the question. Yep, inputs are Arabic words represented as Unicode strings, with or without inflection marks (ex. متوسّط), and outputs are a string consisting of 3 or 4 Arabic letters (وسط) or an empty st

It should be possible, because Arabic morphology follows a logical set of rules (mostly). For example, given a word like متوسط, you could match it for the standard conjugations for the 10 standard verb forms, of which it would match for #5

They were starting to adopt a cutthroat culture where managers boast about firing people. I remember the point where I knew I was going to quit was when the VP called all the tech leads in a room and essentially told us, "Good riddance

Klabnik makes a strong case for WASM here, and one I haven't really seen anywhere else. Now the question is, who will make the first major framework on top of WASM, and for which language?
