Honestly I don't think there is much fuel added on both sides. This argument is age old. Since I was in middle school boys were asserting to me that due to biological reasons I probably wasn't as capable as them as I was very comp

If the system works then it must be worth $40000 to the users of the block chain. There is a valid point to be made about energy efficiency but this possibly is right for the price of securing a global "bank".

A pyramid scheme works such that if the growth stops, the whole pyramid collapses. It is dependent on newcomers. With crypto, if anyone leaves or growth stops the price simply goes down. It doesn't collapse. It's more like stock.

I hear you. That sounds very nice, but a work environment can simply never be the same as hanging out with a friend over lunch. There needs to be some way to discourage harassment and promote a positive, friendly work environment that value

Google must be a pretty interesting place to work in with an opt in group for these types of discussions. I guess that could be good but it seems like their informality might be coming to bite them. Maybe I've just been exceptionally g

It's a mixture of things - it was very difficult yesterday to trade either. There could also been an influx of fiat into BCC. Also the supply of BCC is constrained by the exchanges which don't want to "interact" with it.

You can say the value of BTC was propped yesterday by that logic too since many exchanges froze transactions. BCC is far from pointless since it serves those who have a different ideology. Whether it remains as valuable is uncertain. Whethe

It might impact a normal user if one chain is seen to be more effective at handling larger load. There were long delays previously in bitcoin that caused transactions to not go through for hours from my understanding.
