Agreed with this. There's some amazing adventures to be had in some remote mountains of China. The photos coming out of the crowds alone at Everest basecamp make it unappealing, though probably still the ideal vacation for those who l

The OP got a two-fer: mixing the arguments for/against Angular and the arguments for/against JavaScript frameworks in general. I think they are separate conversations, which is evident below (or above) depending on which threads

Second vote for Knockout.Js. We use it as a base for building up out own framwork/patterns. It's got a couple of benefits, too: 1) It's easier for non OO-devs to understand, especially when coming from a JQuery-only backgro

I'm not disqualifying your post, actually. Directives are pretty horrific to write (I prefer KnockoutJS's bindingHandlers because they are so simple), but I am disagreeing that frameworks are necessary in a large codebase with lot

I disagree: coders who don't know how to code won't be using Angular, they'll be chopping-and-paste JQuery all over the place (assuming an application of significant size/scope)

I don't really agree with the sentiment. I think JavaScript is being pushed harder and in much larger apps these days, which is why these frameworks and design patterns have cropped up. Try getting a large team, building a large app wr

The concept of a to-do isn't necessarily bad, but not having a personal workflow of reviewing and prioritizing stuff at a regular interval (consider it a personal scrum meeting) renders it useless. I prefer the concept of Monday (somet

Agree about not having a full app ecosystem like Google apps, however, Amazon keeps their hardware up to date. I've had a couple Kindles of different vintage and they continue to have firmware updates for them.
