Yes there are but they don’t give you enough information to decide whether you can land at an airport. ADS-B gives you METAR, for instance.

You say radar, but I think what you might mean is ads-b[0]. This is the system where weather info (among other information) is transmitted from a network of ground stations. [0]: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/technolo

I forgot that Homebridge was a thing. I use the “HASS Bridge” in homeassistant which I think is added via “add integration”/Apple/Homekit.

I saw you mentioned the HA bridge. I can only give my anecdote that it works well for me - probably been set up without touching anything for about a year now. I remember the initial setup wasn’t exactly intuitive, but what I like is that H

I don’t think CV is good enough to rely on for self driving features. My 6 year old car uses radar for adaptive cruise control and has only tried to (arguably) improperly stop or slow when someone crept over the line into the lane I was dri

Another poster pointed out that the alarm might also fail to sound, or maybe the switch didn’t actually work, so you need to check it anyway. On Boeing planes, many automations such as TOGO typically have a corresponding physical counterpar

It might be possible that you’re not allowed to do this on your own as a pilot of a certified plane (and require to pay someone who is certified to do so) but I can change mine very easily from a setup screen in about 30 seconds. It could b

If this means you set each echo with a different wake word, you probably don’t need to do that. As long as each one knows about the other (same account) they choose a single device to respond based on the one which heard you best. Google sh

I’m picturing this as a tripping hazard, unless there’s some kind of well to shove the cable into (like your carpet example).

I want to repeat this test myself after upgrading, but it seems strange to compare a browser against another on different operating systems (Safari on M2 MacOS vs Firefox on i7 Windows) rather than simply 2 different browsers on the same m

I don't understand this. Doesn't Walmart just need to support contactless payments? As an example, I used Apple Pay over in Australia before it was launched over there. Since almost every credit card already supported contactless,

When they eventually move to use a new phone, they’ll need to know the code sent via text. It’s basically a dumb idea to use the account while someone else owns the number, eventually you’ll lose access to it

That may be slightly better, but you still need to pull a connection to the chime. In my case, it wouldn’t be all that much easier to get there vs going straight to the door.

Are people really choosing a car based on straight-line acceleration? If you were truly buying because “I want a faster car” then some type of lap time would be a better proxy for that.

None of that is inherently bad. He talks a lot of working hard to maintain multiple brands/companies while everything shown is pure vanity, which is why I thought it was satire. I don’t know anything about what he does but in reality p

I just picked up a 13 mini and this is what would push me over the edge to return it. I keep having to take my sunglasses off to make it recognise me. If a 14 mini came out with Touch ID I’d be all over it, but for now I think I’m going bac
