In an earlier email, ACM pointed out that O’Reilly was unwilling to continue providing the service to ACM members. Of course I don’t know the details about why, but this title (ACM drops Safari for Members) might be unfair. I suspect a lot of people recently learnt that the ACM digital library included this benefit, and O’Reilly were unhappy not taking full payment from these users.
