Nowadays I just assume "lighting fast" means "written in Rust". Even if it's actually slower than the status quo. I'm a Rust fanboy, so not dunking on Rust. Just an observation.

Just sharing, as I just looked it up: Rovio was bought by Sega last yeae for $776m. They've had over $300m yearly revenue in 2022, though not profitable.

I think there are two bigger problems here: people turning when there are pedestrians and the car size inflation. These are not inherent problems with right on red.

I miss right on red every time I drive outside the US. Right on red is a blessing, and it makes a lot of sense. Why would anyone want to take it away?! The only exception is maybe next to bike lanes.

I'm aware, and this is a good point to bring up about cryptography. I had the protocol code in mind when I was talking about the bugs. I should have used curl as example in retrospect. :)

I can see this maybe being true in a high level language (depending on the dependency), though it's definitely not the case with assembly. OpenSSL, for example, was hit with quite a few serious bugs over the years, and I'd still c

This is super cool, though I very much doubt the following statement: > AsmBB is very secure web application, because of the internal design and the reduced dependencies. There's a lot of value in using well tested dependencies, and

Like what? What has Israel done? I'm talking about hard facts not propaganda sensationalism. Israel vacated Gaza, signed peace treaties, vacated Sinai, gave power and water to Gaza, agreed to many ceasefires (all broken by the other si

I hate the settlements as much (or more) as the next guy, but I respectfully disagree. West Bank is not Gaza. Israel FORCIBLY removed all of the settlements from Gaza in 2006, and look where this got us. There is nothing going on in Gaza, a

I believe the protestors in the west are clueless about what this even means (e.g. which river), they are just swayed by propaganda. Though even if they are also about deportation, it's still despicable (as said in my comment above).
