Well, being part of the problem doesn't prevent one from complaining about the problem. But I see interesting stats in my network panel: HTML - 33.25K CSS - 65.89K (the bulk of which is Twitter, which looks to be the same stylesheet lo

Anything one president changes can be changed back by the next president. I would follow the guidelines regardless.

My advice to consumer-facing websites is that it's a means to avoid losing a potentially expensive lawsuit.

I disagree, inline styles is never a "best practice" no matter what the reason or who does it. It happens from time-to-time due to necessity, but that doesn't make it best practice. In this case, React is simply doing it wron

I apologize for not going down the list but there are numerous things that count towards being a quality product when it comes to firearms that have nothing to do with its safety. These qualities can even vary across the range of gun owners

Maybe the confusion is based around the text above the link that seems to be describing what you would like to happen after you die?

Indeed, emotion is part of decision making and is often the cause of the wrong decision to be made. It is not logical to allow a child to starve to death. Using an argument that a law is immoral is more about emotion than logic.

Because such decisions are often based on emotion and not logic.

I currently live in Texas and the amount of firepower that any one person owns is not readily apparent. Texas is not the wild west that many think is with everyone packing heat and daily shootouts at the corner. Open carry is now legal here

I've seen many people lately try to claim that censor is solely a government-related word and censorship is only something that government officials are capable of. Every definition of the word I've seen does not say this. Makes o

What was ReactJS doing a few years ago that was wrong then but correct now? Since I don't know what that is, did the spec change during that time? As far as I know right now, custom attributes goes against the html standard.

My argument about the attribute is not invalid because they are doing it the wrong way. Custom attributes for HTML should make use of the data attribute, as you point out. One could use data attributes in such a way, I have, but in the past

Personally, I'm waiting on the indictments of the US citizens, including high-level federal employees/politicians that have done the much same thing for decades in other countries.

Yes, there's nothing that SCSS outputs that cannot be done in CSS.

The ability for good practices is already there, just too many people would rather complain about their bad practices to bother learning the good practices and blame the language.

Because "my-block" is not a valid attribute for div. You are breaking one language in your attempt to fix your problem in another language.

Bad bits? More like code correctly, use already existing CSS features to your advantage, and use common sense when naming things. Then the so-called "bad bits" tend not to happen.

I agree since most of the complaints and critiques of the language that I've seen are from people who don't appear to know how to code it correctly. Especially the complaints along the lines of "this is how it works in langua

One reason for the cascading is to reduce bloat. If the CSS is bloated because of cascading and/or needlessly complex then the CSS and/or design is wrong, not the cascading.
