My advice to consumer-facing websites is that it's a means to avoid losing a potentially expensive lawsuit.
- crankylinuxuser 9y agoI think that's the point as well. By designing for accessibility, you prioritize for both people with handicaps as well as machines. Think of machines as really really fast visual handicap readers. And avoiding lawsuits is just a big plus as well.
- jjeaff 9y agoI think to be sued, you would have to have had requests from handicap users to make accomodations, and then refuse. And you would also have to have at least 15 full time employees to even be included in ADA requirements.
