Is agile considered a product development framework or just a software development methodology? I think that's quite a difficult question to answer. I'm sure anyone that has worked on product development finds it difficult to figu

I agree with this, at my work we fly regularly between London and Oslo, and some of the delays experienced have been incredible. On Friday I flew from Oslo to London, and the earlier flight was delayed for over 6 hours (they were still ther

I'm over 2m, and flew Norwegian last week. I just about fit into the seat, but it was very uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to fly for more than 2 hours at that kind of comfort level. It is very frustrating just how much airlines fa

The parent said it's 'not graphics' that's the problem. I agree that it's not really the graphics that are an issue in KSP, but most likely the physics engine. Essentially, most (unity) games don't allow their

I think it's reasonable for a person with good experience of multi-paradigm dynamically typed languages to work out the solutions to those questions. As a person who has strong JS/Lua knowledge, I didn't recognise the languag

You can get rid of most of the ui, but it's not very intuitive. First click on the little upwards arrow on the person who's sharing in the bottom right corner. Then the toolbar (the thing that appears in the top center of the scre

Unfortunately, some of those syntax niceties the Garry's mod creator mentioned are things that have been identified as leading causes of bugs. ++ mutates a variable in place, has non-trivial pre/post behaviour (many junior devs do

I don't think that's true. Google maps uses average speed on roads to estimate the fastest route, not the speed limit. If they used the speed limit the app would never take traffic and other conditions into account, which it clear

They're around £40 on Amazon (one-off cost), so not very expensive. I avoid piracy, and I'm personally spending way more than that on a monthly basis for multiple legal services that provide less content. I have acquaintances who

My understanding is that it's a prioritisation system. If all of the UI changes can't be completed before the next render, the lowest priority changes are deferred to the next render. It should help with things where perceived lag

Surprised that you think London housing is not as bad as Australia. Prices here are quite a bit higher in London, and from what I understand, London salaries are also often not as high. I've lived in London for 10 years, and my partner

I do know the basic make, model and year (it's on the number plate in the UK). However, there are lots of extra letters and numbers that identify the exact model. It's all documented, so no need to actually remember it.

It's not too different in London, to be honest. In December the sun is only up at 8, during which time a lot of people are underground on the tube, and by 6 the sun has set again when we're doing the reverse journey.

Interesting to have that comparison. I've never done a regular drive to work (I currently take the tube). My journey right now is ok, but I've commuted in London for over 10 years, and experienced some very uncomfortable journeys.

That's definitely not the London commuter experience. Almost every train is crowded, and there's a very low chance that you'll get to sit on many trains. At some stations it's difficult to even board a train. Plus most t

Unless something has changed very recently, you don't have to use Immutable.js and redux together. Redux advises against mutating your state, but doesn't prescribe a way to do that.

I had a quick look into the code base, and it is indeed targeting the DOM, rather than canvas or webgl. It has a sprite component which is just an absolutely position img element wrapped in a div.
