That's not how it works. Your medical record is private, but if a job has a requirement they can ask for proof of vaccine. It is up to you to provide it, and it is up to them to how to interpret it if you don't provide and how to

It doesn't to me. What she said it is: - I won't take it if trump alone tells me to take it - I will be first to take it if experts give their thumbs up Some people take the whole thing at face value, some take only the first part

What she said, she will trust doctors or scientists over trump. I have antivaxxers in my family, and it is the reverse, they trust trump over scientists and doctors. And when given argument, that trump himself said to take vaccine and that

The previous administration made this political, and the pandora's box already have been opened. People were swearing they won't take vaccine, before it was even available. Look at countries where pandemic is not political.

Which language did you mean? Also in any case wouldn't that be IDE issue. I used Python and I noticed over the years that things like type interference drastically improved. Similarly type checker in Rust extension for IntelliJ was lac

Also, a lot of developers forget to it, but even if you start with a fast language down the line you will end up rewriting it. The problem is that requirements change a lot and because of that your application will often end up being a mess

I was at a point willing to try it and what dissuade me was just that I also needed to have nodejs added as a dependency to my project.

I'm a big proponent of CF when you are using AWS, but if you are on GCP, don't even bother with their managed tool, just go straight to TF. Their Deployment Manager is very buggy (or at least it was 2 years ago).

Another killer feature is StackSet. I managed to rewrite datadog integration CF (their version required manual steps) to a template that contained custom resources that made calls to DD to do registration on their side. I then deployed such

I welcome that chilling effect, because people who believe YouTube and other sites are required to not do censorship are completely wrong. Not only they are not required to keep everything, they actually have right to remove anything ironic

You talk like that because you're a front web developer and that's your bread and butter. There are tons of other areas (even in computer science) where you are out of your bubble and you know nothing about. Similarly, there are p

That's a good point. Not a big Apple fan, in fact I hate most what they do, but for that particular thing I don't agree with Epic. Those things are anti-competetive and hurt everyone else.

No, Cython is transpiler as well, it converts the code into C which you can then compile. If you use additional type markings it can generate more performant C code. BTW: I remember a blog article of someone who was using Cython as the prim

There are implicit dependencies and explicit ones. Build dependencies and runtime ones. Other package managers typically handle the last one and completely ignore implicit dependencies.

There are multiple ways of doing it. The obvious one (updating nixpkgs) you already mentioned. Second way is to override[1], in documentation they are showing how to change compilation parameters, but you can also use this to change version
