Yeah agree, the devex has room for improvement as well. I use it perfectly fine for simpler apps but it could be better. Big love for cloudflare though - all my apps are hosted with it. Their components and generous free tier have been able

This looks interesting but I’m trying to understand it in more layman’s terms. Is it more about providing abstractions for llms to work within to do things?

There has got to be opportunities here for abstracting over regulation to make it easier to comply with and prove compliance so that risk owners/govt can enact change faster. Now to figure out who would pay for that.

I do not but I think I'm growing one! Potentially the heuristics would be about the level of user state management - e.g. if you're needing to do various workflows vs just presenting content.

I ported my personal website from Jekyll to Astro a few weeks back and I really liked it. Astro is much easier to build and extend for me (and that is a personal preference point - I (and by I mostly mean claude) - and it's cool to add

I think hopefully it raises that awareness that these systems are imperfect and do not allow people to delegate their decision making totally. I'm afraid rise of AI and the increase in more plausible sounding yet incorrect behaviours w

This looks really cool! I can't remember what article I was reading the other day but it was advocating for local first software as being the true goal of creating user friendly software -> this app absolutely meet's that goal.

I really like using UV. I introduced it at work for builds and it made everything a lot faster which was awesome. Now I can remove the other components of the build process and just use one. I am interested in how they're going to make

Yes, 100% this. I’ve seen this idea before somewhere, but I wouldn’t be surprised if people started to basically develop more of their own software from first principles like this. I was doing it today to create a gantt chart from mermaid.

Yeah maybe. But I think the thing I like is that is takes me a much shorter amount of time to create solutions for my users and myself. Then I can worry about “tech adoption” once I’ve achieved a relevant solution to my users. If performanc
