Thanks for the feedback! We're at the mercy of some pretty bad APIs. - The autocomplete API is powered by Google Books, which returns some pretty iffy results at times. It's also rate limited, but not as bad as the others - Goodre

Hey guys, creator of pppulp here. After helping a lot of friends and clients to success with their startups I figured it was about time I had a turn. pppulp is an Angular + Node + Heroku stack, and my first big undertaking as a full stack d

The guys at http://acloud.guru are running their platform on Lambda/Firebase, and have given a few talks about how they've managed to achieve it. Disclaimer: I know a founder of theirs.

The great thing about a Twitter account or using GitHub issues is that (ideally) you only have to answer a question once. You tweet out that you're aware of the issue and that you're working on it, or I browse for it in the GitHub

I couldn't agree more based off a recent experience with Formspree (an Assembly project). Currently their emails are running really slow, with tools showing an 11 minute delay between initiation and the email being sent. Want to let th

Hi all, apparent third OP here. I saw this on Designer News and was surprised to see it wasn't on HN. I did the old "submit once with the URL to be redirected to the existing post" and it turned up nothing. Is there a better

"It's 2014" and Chrome can't even render a web font that's not hideously jagged on Windows. Even IE renders text better than Chrome these days. Why would the pixel perfect Apple designers leave something as integral

After using http://bugherd.com for a while, I find this uncomfortably close. The icon-based side nav, the drag selection, the overall colours and theming. I'm not making any accusations, but I think it needs to be said that

I'm a massive LESS fan, but I'll admit one of the biggest failings in the tooling is the lack of upstream saving/compilation. Compiling on save is one thing, but if it doesn't recompile the manifest, it's useless.

Intentional or not, he has certainly predicted technology that has only recently come into existence. They may seem obvious now, but I wonder how inevitable they seemed during the 50s and 60s? Take for instance the Multivac: it is essential

For anyone looking for a non-Python way of doing this, PhantomCSS will achieve nearly all of this. The main difference between the two is that Huxley seems to listen and re-perform actions, instead of needing them to be scripted. We've

Might as well comment here as tweets to the account seem to do nothing. Every 25th click or so has always resulted in a Chrome "no content" error. It's a frequent problem, and it's been happening for years.

I'm a frequent user and massive proponent of Open Sans, which I think allows me to say how much I wish it had a Hairline and Black weight. I end up using Lato for a Futura-esque heavy weight. (eg: http://techevents.co ) EDIT: Lato for refe

I would avoid Prefixr like the plague as it's broken to the point of being destructive, and not maintained. Installed it today before I saw this post, stopped using it immediately. https://github.com/wbond/sublime_prefixr/issues/4

Even if what you're saying is true (which it isn't), it's completely optional. Don't want to use `let` scoping? Use `var` instead! etc.
