The second there's a Tesla icon on my phone that summons a driverless car, goodbye Uber. Not sure how they're going to buy and maintain a fleet of cars below Musk's cost.

No love for the typical MBA consultant here, but one thing they seem to have over the philosophy crowd? Brevity. Good lord this post needs an editor.

It's always nice to feel appreciated, but the validation-seeking pile-on in that Twitter thread is a little awkward. Reward yourself with a cookie then go read your Github Issues tab, guys...

Fantastic writing style. Modern, clever, pre-emptive. Hopefully even accurate. Loved this: "Since the stuff is synthetic, it’s guaranteed that Joe Mercola and the rest of the anti-chemical Internet dopes are going to try to scare you,

Geeze. Click the damn "web" button. There's so little quality news information left on the web the least you can do is spend five seconds to hack around the plebwall.

There was a ton of FUD around PGP and encryption export legalities and commercial use. There was a window to make this stuff standard 20 years ago and we, as technologists, totally whiffed on it. The "these are not web technologies&quo

The biggest pothead team at Microsoft was the Internet Explorer guys. So if you want another 20 years of calculating bounding rectangles incorrectly, by all means let's get the rest of the company baked.

If you stack books horizontally on shelves by year it would form the textbook exponential curve. If you stack them vertically on the floor it makes the textbook log curve. It's a visual metaphor. Apparently not a very good one. http:&
