I think we’re in the era of notification burnout. Your pop up may not be the problem but it’s taking the blame - since these pop ups are optional to a lot of people.

I’m increasingly frustrated with iOS 13 text selection, copy, and paste semantics. I had the first iPhone and I remember it was really good at selecting text. A far cry from the painful experience today. Rearranging icons is also pretty awf

> The solution is nothing to do with phones, or cameras. It is about good laws, enforced vigorously. I think this rationale is exactly what got us into this mess. Laws are sufficiently complex that navigating them successfully is only re

It’s insane that a certain demographic responds positively to overstimulation, affirming these choices. I’m an avid cooker and I fucking hate the auto play video on serious eats. I like to think the people reading that content are not as su

Google could very well be a one hit wonder. Coming from someone who works at a company with one successful product and many failed ones: Maybe they are too wealthy to want a second success. Life is cozy.

I’m so thankful this has finally come to be. I’m not sure what power the American Farm Bureau has, though. Will this become law?

Better than being resold - with rampant return fraud these items can be sold as new and cost 3 shipping trips to make it right.

I wonder why they backtracked and asked for the Tweet to be restored. I don’t think key material is copyrightable. Besides, once it’s posted the cats out of the bag. I’d rather see Apple continue to strengthen iOS security and leave the leg

LinkedIn started great but they shit the bed. The path they chose wasn’t aligned with users interests, it was to serve themselves. Fraudulent LinkedIn profiles are a big problem, too.

I’m not a fan of 1:1 video, I am full remote for almost a decade and I have a strong preference for chat. I like to think slowly and take a few minutes to respond. Being on a call robs me of that.
