You took shots at a hero for many, Jobs. Put yourself in their shoes. Votes are often what folks agree with, not what's right.

Does Amazon webstore even have 3rd party apps? Do they allow you to control the HTML and Javascript only?

When everyone has that "bubble ready to pop" feeling, any slight hint of bad news will send it straight into the ground. Whether or not the bad news was real or created doesn't matter, the effect is the same. It's inevitable.

Yes, it's changing. But it depends on the software and whether it's specifically built to work around monthly payments. As an example, Diablo III was beatable in a few days and left you with absolutely nothing to do afterwards. Whereas a ga

You may wish to find a student developer interested in investing their time into your idea. It may not be the best idea to try to build it yourself if you've never programmed before. It would certainly take longer. Can you tell us a little

Relatively thin personal attack. I don't think it belongs in a place people use to learn and talk about the latest in tech.

YC looks more at the person, not the idea. We're happy to provide help or discuss this with you, but coming here making insults is pointless.

I just failed precalculus, but I've aced my programming classes. Is it worth switching majors? I've been programming forever, but the math simply too hard and not interesting enough.

You say "much simpler", then proceed to list 10 features. Ideally simple means one feature you do really well. You're on the right track. Remove more features.

You shouldn't do nothing because you might hurt someone's feelings. Chances are they have no issue hurting yours. Necessary evil if you will. I'd love to change it.. but it may not even be possible. Only a limited number of businesses can e

Business is a ruthless game. There is limited market saturation. A few are on the court, while a lot more are always on the bench. I don't think it has to be this way, but it certainly shouldn't keep you out of the game completely.
