I think this is THE crucial point - as long as governments have a monopoly on violence / physical force, the power of the Internet is a mere sliver in comparison.

How does the Citizens United ruling factor into this? Basically, I'm wondering if a valid defense would be to say that although 3Taps as a company was banned from using Craigslist, individual employees and separate companies were not.
