Yes and no. Less work for frontend guys I believe. More choice for you, because you can get the same decent looking pages (theoretically) with a different UI of the browser. And, IMO, here is where Opera wins - their UI is superior to Chrom

I'm curious too! I think Javascript in Opera was a bigger problem than HTML. A year ago I worked on an app with heavy JS frontend and frontend guys told that they can't make it work properly on Opera.

At last. Opera used to be my favorite browser, thanks to their sophisticated UI. But I gave it up when HTML5 started coming in. I believe it had problems with Javascripts too. Is mobile Opera very different from the desktop one? I see many

Why do you asume that even a teenager who's learnt something about vulnerabilities of web apps, will only try to find a bug typical for i.e. Rails? It's more likely your app will become a target when it's popular among users.

And also ask them to respect the patterns in existing code. I see that programmers of every language or framework do some shortcuts specific to them.
