I don't think you qualify as famous in the sense pg uses the word. You're well known and highly regarded in some circles, but that's really different to how people think/feel about Travis, Eric Schmidt, Elon, SamA, etc.

Very different. Pulsar is primarily a Kafka competitor. - it is much more performant than RabbitMQ - it's a commit log as well, not just a pub-sub system, ie. it is a good candidate as the storage backend for event sourcing - it suppor

Generally UI is smoother on Windows due to the really mature desktop compositor that's light-years ahead of eg. Xorg. WDDM is actually a very good display driver model, UI crashes are really rare nowadays compared to eg. Linux (and thi

Correct. Most people misunderstand this and think that hardware accelerated drawing is all what they need, but there's another element: decoding. No browsers support (officially) hw-accelerated video decoding on Linux. Compare CPU usag

Scrum is not about context. You might or might not have context with or without scrum. Agile development doesn't work without context anyway.

We still don't have fully hardware accelerated video playback in browsers under Linux. To check this, watch a 4K video in the browser and look at the CPU usage. Edit: I can block ads in various ways (pi.hole, etc.) but I can't fix

I think this is a particularly bad way of dealing with problems. We have trials, laws and regulations for a reason; causing permanent effects on people's lives based on a single article is wrong in my opinion. I'm saying this whil
