I heard the same thing about Ruby, Go, TypeScript, and Rust. (Even JS at one point when NodeJS was super popular a few years ago). There will be new shiny things, but of course, my choice is Python too.

What do you have in mind that Pandas will benefit from cuda cores?

With the help of GPT, I think the bad habit part is non-existent anymore. Learning it from GPT really helps people nowadays. Ask ChatGPT 4.0 some questions, and you will be shocked by how well it describes the code. Just don't ask to f

It is crazy. I tried the same prompts and got nearly identical images to the author. AI seems to be repeating itself with the same images without variations.

I like how the article only shows a blurry RC battery charging station instead of the real stuff he did.

I am blown away by the hyperrealistic renderings, especially of humans. It is getting to the point where I can no longer distinguish ai ones.

OVH and Hetzner are excellent companies. I doubt there would be any problem with them in the future.

I've been a Photoshop user for over 2 decades. I install GIMP every few years to test to see how far it has progressed. This Ui took me back to the 1990s (almost Windows 3.0). I wish the shortcuts were similar to Photoshop so the trans

I think they call it Gemini while it is a voice activated robotic arm that is very well designed. I doubt this has anything to do with LLC other than communicating with the robotic software.

It spiked the stock to $23. Let's see how long it takes to go back to $19.50 again. Intel became a pump and dump stock.

I think with the stocks bounce back again soon crypto will also get a nice pump as well. The cryptos are now totally aligned with stocks, not like what we used to have.

Those are my thoughts exactly. I see these "I am a mentor" posts on HN all the time. I think the developers (senior or not) fantasize about being a mentor to feel important. It is likely an unsolved ego issue. I help my friends at

Why is this considered "mentoring"? From what I read, you see an employee screwing up something and you have a chance to help your company before things go out of hand. Not everything you do at work should be considered mentoring.

Imagine releasing a piece of software and tanking America's economy and wiping nearly a trillion dollars in a day. We are living in wild times.

This is exactly what I thought about when I first read the post. This is not a good idea in my opinion.

Good luck migrating to another platform when they jack up the prices. You can pick any host for wp and migrate within minutes. With closed systems like wix and Squarespace you are locked in forever.

I am not supporting either side, but wpengine is a shit company that treats their customers like they are sheeple. They remove critical functions from the original WordPress, selling $1 worth of hosting for $79. Not providing a "hostin

I wonder what I will be doing with 20 garbage videos. And this probably includes revisions too. It takes 10 attempts to get something remotely useful as an image (and that's just for a blog post).
