The joke is on them. I don't have a cell phone, I don't use Facebook, and I am constantly Linux distro hopping when I work writing code while ssh'ed into private servers behind my private VPN.

In my experience Free Pascal, that is what the article refers to as "modern pascal", is a great language and compiler. It compiles to native code, to JVM bytecode, and there is even a tool to transpile to Javascript. Unfortunately

You don't need to put everything in one file. Just add a new unit (a source code file), and separate your code by functional use into those distinct units. If you have enough units that are all related and you want to separate the code
