All car leasing schemes are expensive in the long run, this one seems to fall in the middle ground - less upfront costs than most, more expensive ongoing. But the cost and repayment method is all quite clear, anyone with a few minutes and a

A ponzi scheme is completely different to Uber so comparing the two isn't helpful. Uber is comparable to working as an freelance/indy contractor, in fact it's almost exactly the same. Uber has always been clear about how it w

I think there's enough readily available information on how Uber operates for want-to-be drivers to make an informed decision on whether or not they should 'work' for Uber.

One thing the article doesn't touch on is the 'why'. What's the motivation behind this? There's a, I want to say similar but its sort of not, community/town in my state called Coober Pedy where a good number of

I see this sort of nonsense ALL THE TIME. Most of the work I do/have done is at non-tech companies, so no one above the 'team leader' level is even remotely technical. Any sort of security that costs time or money becomes eit

Cutting a defence budget is never going to be helpful especially by such a large amount - you're going to lose jobs, lives, security, and given how widely US troops are deployed you're going to lose even more stability in many par

Kids are great, future of humanity and all that (at least some of them), but I cannot wrap my head around why businesses should have to fund them directly. I could understand subsidising this in some other way - maybe tax breaks/refund

I think 20 weeks is a good balance, verging on generous. 52 weeks is great and all, but what does the employer get out of it? And more importantly why is paying for babies the responsibility of employers? It seems like this is a problem bei

Amen. Not sure if it's the same in the US, but in Australia women can nick half or more (tends to be 60%) of your stuff (including superannuation) even if you're NOT married through the joys and wonders of a de facto relationship.
