The top .1% fund very little research. Therefore it is much more efficient for society in the form of government to fund research. We should not rely on the benevolence of a few rich assholes to have research programs.

I’d like people to sneer and get angry over the fact that he does have the money. In Les Miserables when the rich man gave the begger a penny the bishop says, “Look at monsieur buying a penny’s worth of paradise.”

Don't punish people for trying. No one should have the wealth he does. We sneer that people look up to him for spending a small part of his wealth to benefit others when he should not have enough money to fund $500 million science p

the President gets to pick the AG and the AG reports to the President. With the Senate’s approval. You dont understand how the interplay between the branches work. Executive power is derived from the President. No!

Where do people think the agency derives 100% of it's power from? The President! You clearly do not understand how the American system of governance is supposed to work. Every department has enabling legislation. Below is a link to

It is the foundation of a nation's success. This may have been true in 1700 but not in 2025. We live in a global economy where countries and companies have taken advantage of comparative advantages. Juche does not work for North Ko

I was using the legal definition of the term as it pertains to U.S. law. It is a betrayal for sure. In American English I’ve never heard someone use the term to refer to anything other than a betrayal of one’s own country.

I dont understand the downvotes. Treason is the wrong word though but this is a nitpick. The U.S. has betrayed NATO and it is the end of NATO. The Pax Americana is over.

It’s easy to demonize DEI for the reasons I stated above. It’s because I don’t follow the news media that I haven’t fallen for the DEI Scare that has gripped white society. It’s modern America’s version of blaming everything on communism.

White men in the U.S. have a hard time coming to grips with living in a society where women have sexual autonomy and where they are subjected to genuine competition for jobs. Every POC hire over a white man must be becuase of DEI!
