Money is serious business, why would anyone rely on a network that was released days ago? Also it defeats the main guarantee of Bitcoin - that everything can be trusted. Bitcoin would have had a great future if the big guys werent so greedy

I don't think Windows or Android are adware. They are "carrier" products, free but MS/Google can decide what services to bundle, and this is where they get the money (=app store, having Office preinstalled). So it's

Meltdown is not that hard to exploit: 1. Just download the POC, its a C program which reads the kernel memory at a speed of ~2KB/sec. 2. Deploy it to as many AWS instances as possible. 3. save the results somewhere and search it for st

Easily replaceable. Like it was before smartphones. Your device has either a shit design or or are deliberately trying to rip people off if you need to go to a specialist to replace a damn battery. Also my laptop from 6 years ago can show t

AS3 has 2 rendering modes: CPU - this is an old API that can render vector based graphics. Every game before 2011 uses this API. GPU - Adobe introduced a thin OpenGL wrapper around 2011. This is a completely new API and looks very similar t

No, this is one of the biggest misundertandings about the IQ tests. It does not measure inteeligence, it measures something which we tagged with the name "IQ". We cannot measure intelligence, since we cant even define it properly

For me it feels like you want to tweak Windows to be a clone of your OSX setup. Hint: it will never happen, same way you cant ever make OSX really like Windows. For example I could never find a good replacement for Paint.NET on OSX. I dunno

Same goes for lots of other places. A few years ago, even the earth map was full with these stripes when Google did not had good images from everywhere. Also check out Pluto, one half of the planet is just a smear.
