I'm surprised you aren't aware of OpenCourseWare ( http://ocw.mit.edu/ ). It's been around for several years now, and its existence could cause one to read your post as sardonic or tongue in cheek.

I wrote this post before reading the parent; I've moved it to be a reply to the parent because it's clearly related. I have some cognitive dissonance on this issue. I'm not sure what to conclude, so I'll just air it. On the one hand, I woul

It's been done on sensor motes too. http://planete.inrialpes.fr/~francill/Papers/Code_Injection_... It's not surprising that it's practical; it's basically just a souped up ret2libc attack.

I am a die-hard Linux fan. However, I recently discovered that the latest Powerpoint is head and shoulders above Beamer and OpenOffice (try SmartArt, for example), so I use the school's Windows machines just to work on my presentation.

Fun fact: chatroulette exposes to other chatroulette users 1) your IP address 2) the fact that you're running this random-ass network-exposed Flash app. IP addresses are geolocatable, so it's not so anonymous. Would be cool to have a help

Oh, I thought you were insinuating that any truck roll cost $2000. In this case, I can say that your original statement is incorrect: it's not $2000 per customer, it's $2000 per residence at most. (Consider college towns, where lots of re
