Everyone says they don't want to switch to Linux because they don't want to learn a new UI. That's why you do it once so you're not forced to with the next Windows update. I'm typing this on a machine with the same

Just block all of it and throw out your phone. If people need you they have your email and landline number.

>phone and phone number My ISP still provides (very low quality) landline service for a fraction of my monthly phone bill. The UI on that phone is awesome: just a speaker and dialpad, no display at all.

This. Everyone grumps about the Pinephone having a slow CPU but it outruns the iPhone for most things I do because the iPhone ha to run anything usefull in an interpreter. Also there are lots of old apps that have found homes on Linux (like

I had a Mac before the iPhone came out. Apple used to be pretty great.

You should get rid of your smartphone. They're designed to make you depressed so you respond better to ads.

I never said it was unusable. MSDOS is also a perfectly usable platform full of bad ideas and ridiculous hacks.

Nope. Some of them are children. Some need or prefer Apple's locked in stuff (iMessage.) Not to mention Android is a slow burning trash fire. I've seen so many ignorant comments like this about iOS lately I'm on the fence abo

Peertube uses the same pubsub stuff that Mastodon/webfinger do. So if you have an account on one of those you can subscribe to ant peertube channels with it.

That's just it though. Part of the definition of "algorithm" is "correct" and these things are all just ML output that generate correlated noise.

As someone who's dealt with the mass of incompetence that can barely be described as a human organization which we refer to as the USCIS: That's a pretty shitty joke.

I'm not using plasma but I've found I'm happiest with the WM I use on my other computers and scaling turned off. My Pinephone is pretty much a laptop that gets phone calls and stuff generally "just works."

The iMessage exploit sounds like a Null terminated string issue. The rest of it sounds like a Metasploit-esque framework along with some telemetry tools.
