Don't you always pull out before a grift dies? That's just smart not-business. How is this news?

It always amazes me how some places worked out socialised health care and other places really, really didn't. You would expect developed nations to all land within a few percentile of each other on major issues but for whatever reason

The R/canada subreddit had a good breakdown last week Essentially 92% of Canadians can't afford the average home based on the average income. I think if you do "top" of the last month it'll be near the top.

> the addition of nutritional information for fast food outlets would be very welcome, I really don't see it... We know a Big Mac is a shitty life choice, how is putting a number next to it going to help (we already do this i think)

People don't need a nanny state to tell them 12 pints and a kebab are a shitty life choice, i refuse to believe people are this stupid.

I'd go simpler than that. If something goes in your mouth you need to confidently be able to state every ingredient in it. Easy rule, easy to follow. You've got to work really, really hard following this rule to still end up as a

$600M buys you a lot of TBDs apparently. If this game ever actually comes out and doesn't cure at least one type of cancer the weirdest online people are going to be furious.

The UK lottery does a lot of good with its funds and should be mentally separated from other betting/gambling firms in my opinion. If you want to "gamble" its the best option, if you don't you can always wait for the gov
