I'm not sure this is a good idea for enterprise startups building closed-sourced software. As a software architect, some things you just don't delegate. Code Reiews are some of the most important things I do. But (and please do

In the world of web 2.0, that's probably true. Paying people in hearts rarely translates to a viable business model. In the world of Web 3.0. It might not be true. Smart contracts builds a way for creators to realize a larger share

The last time I suggested domains should be NFT's managed by a DAO i got a boat load of downvotes. But you have to admit, ENS's community governance model is superior to this. Its nice that domain owners have a vote in decision

As a donator, it would be important to me that my money is being used for new projects which tie into or improve the core product. Or at least be 100% transparent that it's not.

Is $2 a signature really a big hurdle? If i'm paying a lawer a thousand dollars to write a contract, I really don't care about $2 to sign it.

I think Crypto is a bunch of things to a bunch of people. Some see it as a fun way to make a quick buck, some see it as an alternative to gold in a time with unusual inflation of the dollar. I see it as the future of the web. There's

Not all crypto is money. ETH for example (which will soon be proof of stake... and more energy efficient) could be considered more accurately as a really large (but relatively slow) computer that never turns off. This plus infrastructure

Smart contract dev is a lot more like hardware development then software development. You kind of have to get it right out the door the first time. Our tooling here is perhaps inadequate.

There needs to be many metaverses, and NFT's should be able to be shared between them. It's dangerous to think about the prospect of a major company like Facebook (Or a DAO for that matter) locking up the entire universe.

HN is not a single person, it's a community with a variety of members with a variety of opinions. The fact that communities tend to form consensus of opinions, especially such as subreddits, is kind of a major issue.
