This long blog post (by the now-CEO of Tailscale), if you skip to the end, describes that parent’s hypothesis is basically exactly correct. > Update 2019-04-26: Based on a lot of positive feedback from people who read this blog post, I e

It reads like the comment here from @bongodongobob is possibly correct: > Only way I could see this being surprising is if I was an 18 year old intern who has never played with something like this before.

You could feel this pressure during the OpenAI debacle. Sentiment shifted 180 (or maybe more like 120) degrees from a typical earlier period where the orgs weren’t paying close attention.

Interesting inverted/remapped take. The form is what is under copyright, and the form of the paper is normative, while I would argue the form of the art, if normative, makes it illustration and not art. If I change the hypothesis and

I’m not sure why you’re being downvoted, it is a valid and important point. Researchers discover empirical structure. They don’t create it. It isn’t art. The article seems to want to bring rights holders together in a way that isn’t valid.

I came back to this because I felt like it would be good to address the Paris question. I don’t know the technical term for it, if there is one, but essentially by prompting with “In a single phrase” you are over-constraining the answer spa

It seems though that you may be conflating wrong with hallucination. Hallucination is one class of wrong, while your example, that of reliance on an outdated training set, produces answers that are wrong but probably shouldn’t be considered

You started out loading the whole cost for a grid tie. Now you are talking about a BMS. A BMS is typically included in the cost of batteries. Batteries are extremely functional in many installations, and even if you’re not using, only selli

Why wouldn’t the right answer just be don’t grid-tie and switch back to DC for everything. Almost everything gets simpler and cheaper.

That’s a cost on a renewables installation though, it doesn’t need to be loaded on the batteries. You aren’t installing bare solar panels either.

So you’re charging twice for the grid tie? Because the reason for installing batteries would be 1) to not grid-tie, or 2) to grid-tie along with a renewable energy source, which if it is a commercial site, is already grid-tied.
